The ORMEC series: High-speed mechanical unscramblers for plastic bottles

The mechanical selection and orientation of the bottles allow very high feeding speeds and optimum precision: a wheel equipped with plastic sectors to accommodate the bottles takes care of the product selection, a few air blows allow the bottles to slide inside precisely oriented aluminium chutes.
ORMEC comes in different sizes depending on its size, the speed it can reach and different capacity bottles to be processed. The sizes we can offer are ORMEC 1000, 1200, 1600 and 2000.

Speed and precision with the ORMEC unscrambler

As the disc rotates, the products inside are placed on the periphery, inside housings (sorting slots) designed exactly to the product. Jets of compressed air allow the products to fall into the chutes. In this way, the perfect positioning of the bottles is guaranteed. Then an outfeed belt takes care of transporting the products to the next filling machine. The autonomy of the feeder can be increased by integrating hoppers of different capacities, depending on specific production requirements.

Rapid Format Changeover in 15 Minutes

Format changeover with ORMEC feeders is a simple process that requires no special tools and takes only a few minutes. Product housings and chutes can be changed quickly to accommodate different new product formats. All ORMECs are controlled by a PLC, which manages the entire operating logic of the machine. An HMI interface, via a touch screen display, allows all information from the PLC to be displayed and managed easily and intuitively.

Integrazioni e Personalizzazioni per Ogni Esigenza

For products with irregular or unstable shapes, it is possible to integrate the insertion of products into godets to make the bottle stable and suitable for the subsequent filling process. A blow-out system can also be integrated for cleaning the bottles during their orientation, thus saving space on the line and integrating a fundamental process. Other optionals can be integrated based on the customer's specific production requirements.
